In his latest body of work, Rivadeneira deconstructs and rearranges elements of urban landscapes studied during visits to Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Israel and Serbia, set against familiar motifs from his home in Germany. Colour Dialects is a study of human perception and its interaction with built spaces informed by national identity. Plants and platonic shapes form a visual anchor around which the specific imagery of each place is composed, while contour, pattern and bold colour delineate a personal interpretation of atmosphere and space.
